Kiddieup Travel is a website and concept based on generating great ideas for those vacationing with their children. In that spirit, we developed a logo and identity system to promote Kiddieup’s online presence. Here is a sample of the companies rotating stationary system including letterhead, business cards and, of course, postcards.

Borrowing from Target’s HR branding, the icons above use outlines and carefully overlapping objects to create groupings of visual interest that convey the duties of sixteen different job descriptions. These icons are viewable on Target.com’s Career Section and in the Target Stores through kiosks and printed materials.

This identity uses collaged imagery and illustration inspired by the great state of Minnesota. The resume and cover letter have been combined and work as a visual package, with one opening up to the next.

Conference Collateral
Three years in the making, the 2006 Flashbelt new media conference collateral establishes a modular identity to be used online, in print collateral, and on textiles. The design focuses on a general sense of technology and movement, while the site uses updateable Flash pods to keep content fresh.

Book Contribution
A selection of illustrations and photos featured in Victionary’s Tattoo Icons, the third edition in their Design For Kids series. Contributors were asked to create a tattoo graphic and a design based on that tattoo. The graphics were manufactured as temporary tattoos and sent to contributors who then photographed them on all whos and whats out there. Special thanks to Anchalee and Jerry for their amazing modeling.

This comprehensive identity for Fusion LifeSpa brought together rich colors and textures inspired by Asian and Indian holistic culture, nature, and the clean modernism of Western design. Collateral included branding, business system, advertising, and a modular menu.

Photo Feature Promo
Jonathan Chapman has a unique body of work that lends itself quite naturally to beautiful interactive pieces. To promote it, we created a dual-purpose mailer that focuses on Jonathan’s new website and his latest interactive gallery – a study of farm auctions in rural Minnesota. Later in the year, Jonathan returned from Brazil with a new set of work to share, so another interactive gallery was created.

Phrases include “Don’t expect too much,” “We guarantee you won’t look that bad, probably,” “If you can do it better, you probably should,” and “The other sixteen hours are none of your business, bitch.”
