Our good friends Amy and Nate got married on Saturday at the Varsity Theatre. So much fun! The following pictures depict the insane dance party that followed. Awesome music by DJ Paper Tiger. Video here and here. Thanks to Aaron and Julie for the pics and Jamey for the video (I totally nabbed them!) Congrats again you guys! We wish you all the best!

Kiddieup Travel is a website and concept based on generating great ideas for those vacationing with their children. In that spirit, we developed a logo and identity system to promote Kiddieup’s online presence. Here is a sample of the companies rotating stationary system including letterhead, business cards and, of course, postcards.

With the blog scene growing rapidly, travel writer Jenny Shears is using this momentum to establish herself as an expert in kid friendly travel. With some development help from our friends at PUNY, we worked with Kiddieup Travel to plan and design a blog with specific travel categories, search functionality for planning the perfect trip and user feedback to ensure quality.

Our friend Kelly just started a screenprinting studio in Northeast. Doesn’t it look cute?! I want a drawing table too! Check out her blog here.

It was a REALLY cold night the night Five to Nine Magazine had their first anniversary art show, First Impressions Last, at Umber Studios in South Minneapolis. Congratulations Peter! Above are a couple pieces Nate and I were lucky enough to have included in the show. Also, a link to the flickr set with shots from the night.

We have been working more with Ed Rivero and his staff on round 2 of the Cortez Brothers website. This revamp has brought some sexy new background images, an extensive list of international directors and a user friendly video player with chapter cue points.

Borrowing from Target’s HR branding, the icons above use outlines and carefully overlapping objects to create groupings of visual interest that convey the duties of sixteen different job descriptions. These icons are viewable on Target.com’s Career Section and in the Target Stores through kiosks and printed materials.

A series of background illustrations done for the Atomic Playpen blog, AP/Creative Lab. The backgrounds change out on page refresh.
